A few words in English...

Welcome to all those who are fond of organ music or who are simply interested in it!

Richard DOTT, master organ manufacturer in Sélestat, Alsace (Alsatia-France), has built a 19-game organ with 2 keyboards and 1 pedal board in the St John the Baptist's church in Illzach. This little town is located in the suburbs of Mulhouse, about 30 km far from Basel (Switzerland) and Freiburg-in-Breisgau (Germany).

The "St John the Baptist's Organ Appreciation Society" aims at reaching several purposes :

- concerts organizing : organ recitals, organ with other instruments', and organ with voice or choir's

- welcoming of regional artists, as well as national famous ones or international performers coming from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium or other European countries

- encouraging and supporting young, talented, beginner musicians.

Each performance is shortly and lively presented.

Free entry, but a tray is passed around during the break as a quest (except for some special concerts with box-office).
